TouchNet opened for business as a technology company in 1989, long before the advent of the Web. While we don't claim to have invented the Internet, we did introduce the first commercial payment gateway for Higher Education in 1997. We were the first to provide campuses with a comprehensive commerce management system in 2002. We were the first provider to embrace all PCI standards and be fully certified PCI-PA-DSS compliant.
